Elegy for Souls on Hold
as part of "Home(Land) Bodies of Water" / ArtworxTO Toronto's Year of Public Art 2021-22
Elegy for Souls on Hold is a poetic memorial installation that involves infrared photography, mapping projection, sound and augmented reality features to showcase portraits and celebration of the life videos of many who died during the COVID19 pandemic.
These community-based project uses different new media elements to collect personal stories and help communities in the healing process of grieving a loss in isolation times.
